Fourth is Fantastic

All year we have been reflecting on our accomplishments. What is your proudest accomplishment from this year and why? What did you hope to accomplish but didn't? What do you need to help you accomplish it in the future, if it is still a goal? Finally, what is your favorite memory from 4th grade?

  1. This year has been fantastic I have learned a lot too. This year I have accomplished many goals and I haven't accomplished many goals too. But today I will only share you two, one accomplishment and one that I haven't. I will start off with the one that I am most proud of, and that is me making more friends. The reason why is that I cam from a different school and city. I thought I will be really board and not know what to do. Now I have a lot of friends that I will never forget. The other one that I will be writing about is an accomplishment that I wanted to accomplish is to play in a tennis tournament and win in it. The way I can accomplish this goal is by practicing more. My favorite memory is me standing in front of my room door and wounder if i will have fun and I didn't just have fun, I had a blast!

  2. My proudest accomplishment of the year is my California History report. I think that it was very good and I had a lot of information on it. I had hoped to learn at least 50 songs on my recorder but I lack a few. I would need a little more time to practice to accomplish this. My favorite memory in 4th grade is of the Halloween Party when we all circled around on the asphalt. S.Z.A

  3. My proudest accomplishment is learning how to play the recorder because my mom used to play the flute and the recorder is the closest instrament to the flute. I have loved working with our awesome music teacher and all that she has taught us. I was hoping for my mom to teach me the flute for the same reson. But, I still got to learn a really interesting instrament. The only help I would need in the future to accomplish is the time to have my mom help me learn the flute. My favorite memory from the fourth grade was iday. Where we got to bring in our idevices. I also loved my teacher. She was the best teacher I have ever had in my whole life!

My favorite memory on 4th grade is when i was still in 3rd grade and saying i don't want to go to 4th grade because it is not going to be fun but it was the best year in my life!!!!!! N.S.D

  5. My proudest accomplishment is my spelling. I think this because I have improved a lot. Just last week I got 17/20! I am so proud of myself. Somethig I didn't accomplish was getting historian for my school. This is not a goal of mine anymore because next year I am going to run for president. My favorite memory of fourth grade was the play. I did very well and studied my lines and dance moves very hard. I have accomplished a lot in the last year.

  6. This year one of my goals was to learn powers in math and I did. It was a lot easier than it sounded. The only goal that I did not accomplish was to have neater handwriting. I will try to work on it over the summer. The most memorable time was the first day of school because it was great to see my friends again.

  7. Fourth grade was an interesting year. I will never forget it. My accomplishments for fourth grade were learning how to do triple and double digit multiplication, learning how to correct my own homework, and getting 100% on a social studies test. The goals that I did not accomplish were improving my hand writing, learning more study skills, and improving my organizational skills. I have a lot of time this summer to work on all three. The most memorable time for me this fourth grade was the field trip to Sac. Ca. I had so much fun on the bus with my classmates, I was able to bring electronics on the bus and I was taught so much about our capital. Third graders, good luck and have fun.

  9. My proudest accomplishment this year was getting 100% on my Social studies test. I’m proud of this accomplishment because I studied really hard for the test so I was so excited and proud when I found out my score. This year I didn’t accomplish finishing the book The White Giraffe. I need the book to accomplish this past goal. My favorite memory from 4th grade is playing with my real friends on the field trips and at parties.

  10. My proudest accomplishment of the year was to go to Colorado and ski in a Nastar ski race. I was so surprised that I would make it so far when I saw my results! I was very proud that I got second place in my division! But I also didn't accomplish one of my goals for the year, was to 100% on one Social Studies test. I will keep working on it though. Finally, my favorite memory of the year was our Sacromento field trip! We learned so many things about California's history.

  11. My proudest accomplishment this year in fourth grade was finishing my Mission Report. I put a lot of effort into it, and sometimes never thought I would finish. It was very stressful, but at the end I was very proud of myself! The one goal I did not achieve was being vice president on student council. But sadly I wont be able to achieve that goal because I am moving to Boston, but if I could try again I would try and help people more and meet more people from all of the grades so that more people will know me and more people would vote for me. My favorite memories of fourth grade include giving the speech for student council when running for vice president. I was very proud to have made it into the generals, something I never thought I would be able to do.

  12. My proudest accomplishment from fourth grade year is winning Vice President and Historian. I felt so important to be the only one chosen out of all the wonderful canidates. I didn't pass my audition for Presto. It felt bad, but my music teacher is going to help me over the summer, so I will be sure to go into the next level. Though I didn't pass, I not sad because I'm already in a fifth grade level and was just trying out for the sixth. I hope to accomplish my 2nd audition. My favorite memory has to be the first day of school. Nobody knowing each other, but we all stood up and gave their classmate the never ending, "hello!"

  13. My greatest accomplishment was learning new math skills. Math is the most important tool used by an architect. And if you don't already know I've been wanting to have that job since 1'st Grade. One of my most memorable moments and the happiest day of my life is when my group did the skit for Cisco. We all participated, and I loved thet we made many of our peers laugh. Currently we are working to make it a video.

  15. My proudest accomplishment this year was that I got good grades on most of my tests. One goal that I set but yet to accomplish is to get 100% on ALL of my tests but that didn't happen. I have to continue to study really hard to accomplish that goal next year. My favorite memory in 4th grade is that I got to learn a lot and have fun at the same time. I will not forget 4th grade with Mrs. McConnell. I am looking forward to 5th grade. Yeah!!! Summer is here!!!

  18. One of my accomplishments was when I learned how to divide. I love dividing now since Mrs. McConnell showed me how to do it so easily. One goal that I have not yet accomplished is to get 100% on my math test. I did it in Social Studies though. Even though it didn't happen, I'm still going to try my best on all my math tests. One test I know I could really use help on is the mars test. One of the best things that happened to me was Social Studies with Mrs. McConnell. I never used to like Social Studies, but now I do. I think this was the best year because I had the best teacher that helped me through 4th grade. Thank you Mrs. McConnell. You still rock!

  19. What I accomplished in fourth grade is I learned how to divide and multiple fractions and decimals also how to add and subtract negative numbers.
What I didn't accomplished was learning how to use square roots. I think that if I keep practicing I will finally get it right.
